AML and KYC at SpaceCore: Payment Checks and High-Risk Platforms
There are risks tied to money laundering and other forms of illegal financing. At SpaceCore we are well aware of these risks, which is why we operate in line with international AML requirements and carry out KYC verification when necessary.
Any use of our service for unlawful purposes is strictly prohibited. By registering an account, the client thereby confirms that they are not involved in any illegal activity and gives advance consent to undergo KYC verification, should the automated payment screening system require it.
What we do under AML requirements
As part of our AML obligations, we may:
- request documents from the client to confirm their identity
- verify the origin of the funds
- suspend accounts when there is suspicion of illegal activity
These measures may seem strict, but they are exactly what allows us to provide a quality service to users worldwide. We use modern, advanced technology to protect all data. Today such checks are genuinely necessary: they give the company confidence that its services are not being used by illegal organizations.
Unfortunately, it has happened more than once that such cooperation led to equipment being seized and entire hosting providers being shut down. We do everything we can to protect our clients from situations like these.
High-risk platforms
There are a number of platforms that carry an elevated risk. When funds arrive from such sources, there is a 99% chance they will be sent for an AML check, and the client will need to complete KYC verification. We fully understand that this is not the most pleasant process, so we strongly ask you to refrain from sending funds from the following platforms:
